We respect your privacy and will not use your personal information for any purpose beyond the intended mission of BDPNN. Contact information  (name, address, email address are used primarily for sending announcements about BDPNN meetings and activities as well as other useful information pertinent to disaster preparedness in the city of Berkeley. We share such information only among the Board members and staff of BDPNN.

As part of our mission to bring participating preparedness groups into communication with each other and our efforts to document degree of preparedness within the city of Berkeley, we collect information about level of group preparedness and location of individual group boundaries. This information is stored in the BDPNN database with access to detailed information restricted to the BDPNN Board of Directors and staff directly involved in database maintenance.

We have agreed with informal approval by participating groups that public display of group location information and group contact information will be limited to an interactive map located on the BDPNN website and available only to participants approved for inclusion in the website Discussion Group. Inclusion of location and contact information on the group map is entirely voluntary, and each participating group must have agreed to participate by agreement of the representative member when they register.
