We hope that you are surviving the realities of sheltering-in-place, and that you and yours are staying healthy … physically, mentally, and emotionally!
We are planning a virtual gathering via to discuss how folks are successfully navigating this crisis, and what challenges we’re facing as well. Our Zoom account is limited to 100 spots, so please sign up via Evite at: http://evite.me/HZGm1qkaXp
We’ll be sharing resources, exchanging ideas, and offering ways that we can all support each other. We want to hear your stories, as neighborhood groups, as households, and as individuals.
If you have a story you’d like to share, let us know ahead of time by emailing info@bdpnnetwork.org, and then join the Zoom session. If you have questions, feel free to send them to use ahead of time as well, and we’ll do our best to include them in the discussion.
We’ll also be discussing the very real possibility of a separate, large-scale emergency (for example, a wildfire) during this “lockdown.” Mississippi just experienced some devastating tornadoes during this COVID crisis. How can we best prepare for such an event?
