At the January CERT Volunteer Meeting Bill Springer will discuss FEMA Special Flood Hazard Areas, climate change impacts for more high intensity rain storms resulting in the potential for more floods over more areas, how to protect your home, and flood insurance.

Bill Springer is a Berkeley resident, P.E., Certified Floodplain Manager, and CERT Instructor.  Bill will present on the potential for floods in Berkeley, flood maps and the National Flood Insurance Program.
