DESCRIPTION:Berkeley Ready is hosting a monthly gathering to talk about all things disaster preparedness in the City of Berkeley. Each month will feature a guest speaker or disaster preparedness discussion topic. CERT members\, neighborhood group participants\, and anyone with an interest in getting more prepared for emergencies is welcome. \nMay 10\, 2023\, 7-8:30pm: Monthly Meet-up Re-Launch and Discussion about Community Preparedness \n\n\n\nCome prepared for a discussion about our communal experience of COVID emergency response. What lessons we can take from those experiences to prepare\, respond\, and recover from other emergencies? How did some of our emergency planning and preparedness serve us during the pandemic?\nOur next steps forward: how should we use these meet-ups to strengthen community and enhance resilience in the future?
