An ability to plan for mental health needs is as important as the rest of our disaster preparedness work. \nIn this interactive presentation\, Susan will share highlights from the research on resilient communities\, and lead activities to help participants build their mental health toolkit including: \n\nan assessment tool for mental health needs\nideas for an personal action plan to support self\, family & community\ntechniques for addressing mental health before\, during\, and after a large-scale emergency\n\nSusan Snyder  is Lecturer at the Haas School of Business and a Civilian CERT Instructor for the City of Berkeley. \nBerkeley Disaster Prep Neighborhood NETWORK is back at the   BFUU Church  (corner of Bonita and Cedar avenues in Berkeley). \n[doors open at 6:00 p.m.]
