DESCRIPTION:The City of Berkeley Office of Emergency Services and American Red Cross are hosting an in-person\, hands-on disaster shelter worker training in South Berkeley. \nInterested in training alongside city disaster service workers to learn how to volunteer at an evacuation center or disaster shelter after an emergency? \nThis training will cover the basics of disaster shelter operations\, how shelters are organized\, common shelter tasks\, and hands-on cot assembly practice.
